The Dubai Digital Authority has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) to enhance procurement capabilities, workforce development, and operational excellence in line with Dubai’s digital transformation agenda.
Under this collaboration, CIPS will deliver an 18-month programme offering applied learning, advanced certifications, and specialist training modules tailored to procurement professionals at Dubai Digital. Designed to strengthen practical skills, uphold ethical standards, and embed international best practices, the training will be conducted in Dubai by leading CIPS experts.
The MoU was signed by H.E. Hamad Obaid Al Mansoori, Director General of Dubai Digital, and Sam Achampong, Regional Director of CIPS MENA, at a signing ceremony in Dubai.

As part of the MoU, CIPS will provide customised practitioner and advanced practitioner-level courses, combining competency assessments, orientation sessions, and internationally recognised certifications. The programme supports Dubai Digital’s broader mission to build institutional capacity, promote transparency and ethics, and foster continuous professional growth among government professionals.
CIPS continues to work with governments and organisations globally, offering strategic procurement consultancy, policy alignment, and capability-building initiatives that drive long-term transformation and sustainable excellence.
