Gensler has officially completed The NEST, Schneider Electric’s 10,000m² flagship headquarters in Dubai, a bold step forward in reimagining the future of work in the Middle East.
Strategically positioned in Dubai Silicon Oasis, the project integrates next-generation smart systems, advanced sustainability features, and people-driven design to deliver a vibrant, connected workplace experience.
As Schneider Electric’s first regional headquarters for the Middle East and Africa, The NEST also marks the company’s first Impact Building — combining workspaces, training hubs, and innovation centres within a single, dynamic ecosystem designed for collaboration and adaptability.
Central to its concept is the Innovation Hub, an immersive showcase where clients and partners can interact with Schneider’s pioneering technologies in contexts ranging from residential applications to enterprise-scale data centres.
Already awarded the SmartScore Platinum certification, The NEST is also on track to secure LEED ID+C Platinum and WELL Equity certifications, recognising its contribution to the region’s most sustainable and inclusive workplaces.
Jose Faine, Design Director and Principal, Gensler Middle East, shared:
“With The NEST, we set out to create more than an office – we designed a living, breathing ecosystem that embodies the future of work. Our approach focused on fusing technology, sustainability, and human experience to deliver a space that is not only smart and efficient, but also inclusive and inspiring. The NEST is a first-of-its-kind in the region and a project we are incredibly proud to celebrate alongside Schneider Electric.”
Designed to accommodate over 1,000 employees, The NEST creates a highly connected environment where collaboration, innovation, and employee well-being are prioritised.
As the first flagship project in Schneider Electric’s Global Impact Buildings Programme, The NEST stands as a global benchmark for sustainable smart workplaces, shaping the future of commercial environments.
