First UAE Internship Programme Launched to Promote Innovation and Develop Future-Ready Professionals
Alibaba Cloud, the digital technology and intelligence backbone of Alibaba Group, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the University of Birmingham Dubai to deliver advanced cloud computing and AI education. The initiative will provide students and academic staff at the Dubai campus with access to world-class curriculum and resources.
The partnership marks the debut of Alibaba Cloud’s internship programme in the UAE, with the University of Birmingham Dubai chosen as the first institution to participate. Students and faculty will benefit from immersive technology workshops, hybrid training modules, and official certification courses designed to deepen expertise in cloud and AI.
As part of the collaboration, Alibaba Cloud has rolled out its “Future Star” internship scheme locally. This three- to six-month programme offers structured training, hands-on industry experience, and tailored mentorship. Participants will explore diverse functions within Alibaba Cloud, preparing them to make a strong impact in the global cloud industry.
