Saturday, 9th August saw members of Sharjah Golf & Shooting Club turn out in large numbers for the Orient Travel Monthly Stableford, braving the summer heat. Proudly supported by the Saudi Tourism Authority, the event once again offered superb prizes thanks to our generous sponsors.
Victory went to Bimal Jain, who produced a round to remember. Scoring eight net birdies, he finished three-under-par with 39 Stableford points, earning the top prize and well-deserved acclaim.
Rajesh Pareek was close behind in second, returning an impressive 36 points. Although not quite enough to secure first place, his round was of the highest quality.
Third place was claimed by Ajaz Ahmed, whose dependable form continued with another strong 36-point effort.
In the Gross Division, Amiya Ranjan took the honours, recording 27 points to top the leaderboard and secure the day’s final award.
